Right after Thanksgiving... and when Kevin gets home from hunting... we decorate. I would like to do it November 1, but no one else seems to enjoy that as much as I do. And so began our last Christmas season with one little girl in the house...
(WARNING: Pictures galore)
Leah rearranged the ornaments on the bottom half of the tree at least half a dozen times each day.
Mostly you will just get a bunch of pictures from here on... can you sense my urgency for getting caught up on blogging photos? In 3 days or less Ava will be joining our family and I will need to have plenty of time to get behind again!!!
Giggle and Granstan's Christmas party...
Christmas Eve with grandparents. First stop - Vogt house. (Mama is sick... boo!
I was sick throughout all of Chrismas and New Years and my 9th Anniversary!)
Leah painted Granstan a kite...
What could Leah's giant present be??
A big girl bike!
Back inside to watch our family slideshow... because it was really stinking cold!!!
And back outside... because its SO MUCH FUN to ride a big girl bike.
Then to the Coopers house.
When Leah opened her Merida doll... she actually cried a little bit
Pops almost cried when he got his new tackle box. :)
A puzzle from Aunt Leslie who was in California, we had to FaceTime her a little later. :)
Later, to Grandpa's house...
Real nice, Kevin...
And even later, back to the Vogt's...
Dinner in the festival room!
Jenna reads the Christmas story...
Back at home we put out food for Santa and the reindeer... But the next morning Leah thanked Kevin and I for all of her presents. I don't think she buys the Santa thing so much... or maybe its because I don't sell it...
All 12 of her princesses needed a nap...
Then our family came over, we ate, watched Brave ( for the first of 683 times so far) and it began to SNOW!!!!
Leah had been saying its gonna snow on Christmas for months! I assured her it ALMOST NEVER happens in Texas, and not to get her hopes up. She is our little prophetess...
Our last Christmas celebration at my parents house with my mom's family. I didn't get any pics til the end when these maniacs (Leah and Logan) were driving around and around in circles going faster and faster, and getting louder and louder! This was a no-nap day, and it shows...
Merry Christmas!
