A little homework

This was a hundred times more fun than I thought it would be! So far home school days have been a success...

A little desk...

Welcome to kindergarten!

Writing practice...

Some art...

Computer time...

Little sister wants to climb all over Leah and her desk so we have to distract with cooking and cleaning the kitchen...

Leah has a stack of sight words we practice... And she makes up sentences... :)

Spelling practice...

Writing numbers...

Coloring and games...

Field trip!!

And our second day, we are getting in the groove...

And poor Ava is so sad that she isn't in kindergarten too!!

Really, really, really good times!

A little warrior

It happened! My teeny tiny baby girl grew up and started kindergarten... She's an LCA warrior!

She is now a school kid... With homework! And not just any homework.... school work at home aka homeschool aka Leah's-not-the-only-one-who-started-kindergarten! This week I make my debut as a kindergarten teacher! Yes... two of Leah's school days will be "satellite days" at home where I will be her teacher. What!?!?!? I signed up for this... I remember doing it... With a smile on my face... But am I really doing this???

So after two full days of kindergarten at a big kid school, the most important thing on Leah's mind was "Why are uniforms so hot? All I do is sweat!" :-)

It's been too long

So much life is going on I can't find time to blog about it... And then I do find some time, and my app forsakes me after half an hour of writing and posting pictures again... But my phone and my computer can't agree on how to upload or download or save anything. Common denominator... I know I know...

Regardless of my technological handicaps, I had to share what is currently my favorite picture of the Curley sisters. These days are full of good times...
